Ration Kit Distribution for Irular Families Affected by Titla Cyclone

On 22 December 2025, Divine Light Foundation (Deiviga Oli Arakkattalai) carried out a ration kit distribution drive for the Irular community in Kalathur and Nagalapuram villages, located in Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh.

These villages were severely affected by the Titla Cyclone, which brought heavy rainfall and widespread disruption to daily life. The Irular families, already among the most vulnerable sections of society, faced significant challenges due to flooding, loss of livelihood, and limited access to essential resources.

Supporting Communities in the Aftermath of the Cyclone

As part of its humanitarian response, the foundation distributed essential ration kits to help families meet their immediate food requirements during this difficult period. The initiative aimed not only to provide material relief but also to extend care, dignity, and reassurance to the affected families.

Natural disasters disproportionately impact marginalized communities like the Irular people. Recognizing this, Divine Light Foundation stepped in to offer timely support and stand in solidarity with those affected.
