Who We Are
Since its establishment, Divine Light Movement Charitable Trust (DLMCT) has been dedicated to the holistic development of underprivileged communities—supporting financial, mental, spiritual, and educational growth. Our initiatives focus on leadership training, awareness programs, and community development projects such as constructing community halls, borewells, installing solar lights, and renovating homes for leprosy-affected individuals. We also provide essential provisions and support for the Irular and Gypsy communities on special occasions.
In 2011, DLMCT launched the Greater Love Children Home, a unit committed to nurturing children’s overall development through free tuition, children’s clubs, and awareness programs, empowering them to thrive holistically.

Our Vision
A world where every underprivileged life blooms with hope and skills. We work without discrimination, regardless of caste, color, race, or religion.

Our Mission
To empower, rehabilitate, and uplift lives — especially the poorest of the poor — by providing quality services through education, training, skill development, healthcare, social, and spiritual activities.
Our Story
The inspiration for Divine Light Movement came from a life-changing adult literacy program in Pattabiram. Seeing how one woman’s ability to read transformed her entire family’s life, Mr. Vedanayagam and Salomi realized that empowering even one person can uplift an entire community.
Since then, Divine Light has built community halls, restored borewells, distributed rations, educated hundreds of children, supported women’s literacy, and reached over 350 families.
Today, with the support of CSR partners, donors, and volunteers, we continue to expand programs that bring dignity and opportunity to those who need it most.
